Job Search: What job is right for me?

In this LES, students explore what jobs match their aptitudes and then investigate — through research and personal interviews with adults in their field of interest — the question, What job is right for me?

Pedagogical intention:

Students examine the issues of "Pursuing an Education" and "Entering the Workforce" by: Analyzing character traits and aptitudes for specific jobs. Researching and analyzing information about credentials. Interview a professional in a field of interest, exploring themes such as education, job tasks, and salary expectations. Researching a particular field further, then present their findings to their peers at a job fair.
