Grade 7: A Place for Everyone

In this LES students will examine how factors such as language, religion, ethnicity, income, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, and ability can affect access to public spaces, services, and a sense of belonging.

Pedagogical intention:

Students will explore the concept of social diversity and how it shapes public life and citizenship in Québec. They will engage in discussion and ethical reflection on real-life examples, question their assumptions, and propose ways to make their school or community more inclusive.
