How to register for a course

In some cases, educators can use their school board Microsoft or Google account to login:
—
If this is your first time, and the Microsoft or Google options do not work for you:
Scroll down and use the “Create new account” button.
Fill out the form and click on “Create my new account”.
You will receive an email with a link to confirm the new accounts creation.
Clicking the link in the email will bring you back to the Login page of the Moodle.
Scroll down and select the course you would like to enrol in.
The Enrolment screen will appear.
You will be asked to type in an enrolment key. The key can be found in the right hand tab. If the tab is not open, click on the orange arrow tab.
Type the key into the Enrolment key box.
Click Enrol me.
—
Once you have registered for one course, you can use the same credentials to participate in any of the other courses.
All courses follow a similar structure:
There is a main page with a content menu on the left hand side (in blue).
Each Content item may have a submenu. Click on the small arrow to access each submenu.
Start with the welcome and follow the instructions provided.
Each course is made up of four (4) modules. It is intended that each module will take about one (1) hour to complete. You can leave a module any time and come back to it later to continue on (just remember where you were or bookmark where you’re at).
The courses use an interactive book structure where content, videos, quizzes, etc. are in an easy to navigate virtual book format. Just use the arrows to turn the page.
Some of the courses have built in a “Notebooks” or “reflection pages” tool.
These notebooks allow you to keep track of your thinking/reflections as you go through each module topic. These notes can then be accessed any time to review and can be printed out if needed.
In addition, each course provides resources for each of the topics covered.
