Education for Truth and Reconciliation Moodle Course

This 4 part course will guide you through a personal learning journey during which you will reflect on the vital role you play in Truth and Reconciliation:

You will start by learning more about the specific Nation(s) on whose traditional territory you live or work. Then, you will learn and understand some of the historical and present-day Truths impacting education in Quebec and how to better welcome and support Indigenous students in your school. Finally, you will explore ways of acknowledging and respectfully including aspects of Indigenous cultures in your pedagogy. Overall, this course will focus on supporting educators in moving from knowing to doing, that is, making practical changes in their classrooms, schools, and broader communities to become better allies to local Indigenous people in Quebec.
