This interactive, hands-on workshop introduces educators to the power of escape rooms and gamified learning in high school and vocational settings. Participants will learn how visual, challenge-based experiences can transform classrooms into spaces of curiosity, collaboration, and emotional engagement. Built around the idea of “Teach me, show me, let me do it, let me play with it,” the workshop focuses on visual and immersive escape room-style activities. Participants will experience examples of escape room tasks and create their own using strategies that align with diverse learning needs and teaching goals. We’ll touch on theories of motivation, game-based learning, and instructional design, offering techniques that work across multiple educational levels. Examples will include classroom-tested questions, puzzles, and formats that help you adapt escape rooms to your specific subject or student group.
