They explore the reasons behind the construction of these forts, which were designed to defend Quebec City, then Canada’s national capital. They also learn how the arrival of the Grand Trunk Railway reinforced Lévis’ strategic importance and how innovative construction techniques were used at the time. A captivating immersion in local and national history!
