Parks Canada presents: Animal Adaptations

A network activity carried out in collaboration with Parks Canada: Animal Adaptations. The intended audience is Cycle 1 elementary (Grades 1 & 2).

In this interclass activity, Parks Canada presents animals and their surprising adaptations. What are their strengths? Why are some animals more efficient than others in the dark? Why do fish do so well in water, but not on land? Why do mammals have fur? Simple questions that will also lead us to reflect on the link between humans and nature.

A online workshop that promises to be… unique!

This interclass activity lasts 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question period.
