Parks Canada. The intended audience for this session is
Cycle 2 Elementary (Grades 3-4) students.
Discover the voyageur’s way of life and his interactions with the Indigenous people. Our team will take you back in time to the fascinating era of the fur trade.
Territories, transport, trade, storage and rivalries will be presented.
With the help of quizzes, pelts and artifacts, students will see if they have what it takes to become a voyageur during this harsh but flourishing trade.
This activity will help you bring these historical concepts of the social universe to life.
