Parks Canada presents: Learn-To Bird

A network activity carried out in collaboration with Parks Canada: Learn-To Bird (An Introduction to Ornithology). The intended audience is Cycle 2 elementary (Grade 3-4).

During this network activity, participating classes will have the opportunity to observe magnificent birds and learn about the important role they play in ecosystems. In this way, classes can help to protect them. This is the perfect opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature and develop a deeper understanding of your environment.

With the help of passionate guides from the Parks Canada team, you will explore the natural habitats of various bird species and learn to identify them using visual and auditory clues.

Together, let’s become budding ornithologists in this interclass activity!

This interclass activity lasts 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question period.
