Parks Canada presents Fossils : The Mingan Islands in Tropical Times

This online activity, Fossils : The Mingan Islands in Tropical Times, is being hosted by LEARN in collaboration with Parks Canada. The intended audience for this session is Cycle 2 Elementary (Grades 3 & 4) students.
With fossils in Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve dating back over 450 million years, stepping back in time has never been so accessible. This one-off activity invites participating classes to discover how these fossils were formed, how to identify them and who their descendants are today.

This interclass activity lasts 30 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question period.

The event is finished.
