Going into the forest is simple. Everyone’s safety is important when venturing off the beaten track into the backcountry. Here in the Northwest Territories, Indigenous and Western knowledge, as well as Dene laws, are often linked to explore Parks Canada places safely. This interclass activity lasts 50 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question period.
