Parks Canada presents: Being Safe On The Land

A network activity carried out in collaboration with Parks Canada: Being Safe On The Land. The intended audience is Secondary (Grades 7-9) students.

Going into the forest is simple. Everyone’s safety is important when venturing off the beaten track into the backcountry. Here in the Northwest Territories, Indigenous and Western knowledge, as well as Dene laws, are often linked to explore Parks Canada places safely. Subscribe your classe to learn more about forest safety in remote areas.

This interclass activity lasts 50 minutes, followed by a 15-minute question period.
