Bring coding into the Terry Fox run!
This year, join TakingIT Global and LEARN for a one-hour webinar as we walk educators through an amazing project about our Canadian legend, Terry Fox.
This three-part project has learners:
- coding a micro:bit and recording their steps for their run or walk; and/or
- comparing their results to what Terry Fox did during his journey; and/or
- coding an animation of Terry Fox running and telling a story about his Marathon of Hope.
A limited number of FREE Micro:bits will be sent to schools that register with TakingIT Global. First come first serve basis.
This is an engaging cross-curricular project that brings coding to life for your learners!
